Subject: FLASH: Graphics tablet woes with F4 -- help??
From: Shelley Story
Date: Fri, 6 Oct 2000 19:08:02 +0100

I was just given a Pablo (Internet Edition) graphics tablet,
installed it and had fun trying to navigate around my desk-
top with it. Then moved on to Flash for my first real
pressure sensitive drawing, and was sorely disappointed.

When I try to use the pencil or brush, instead of the drawn
line following the path of the pen on my tablet, Flash draws
a straight line from the bottom left corner of the screen to
the first place where I put pen to tablet. It will not draw
anything other than that. (However, if I use the rectangle
tool, I can successfully draw a rectangle or square anywhere
I please.)

Pablo tech support doesn't really care, since this is a
Flash problem and not a Pablo problem. I searched every
keyword I could think of on MM's site and found no help.
I have this idea that I've heard of this problem before,
but I'm worried that it's just wishful thinking.

Can anyone point me to a Tech Note, or any other steps toward
a solution? I'm going to be really bummed if I can't use
my tablet with Flash.

Thanks for any help you can offer...
