Subject: | FLASH: Too simple to be true! |

Hello all,
Using a button in Flash 4 or 5, when I target an open named browser window
("main") using get URL and the open named window, instead of replacing the
content of the named window, it opens a new window in IE (works fine in
Netscape).
Just to make sure I'm not crazy, create a button in Flash 4 or 5 that does
a get URL and targets a window named "main". After you publish the movie,
the first time the button is clicked a browser should open. When the
button is clicked again, it should replace what the content in the browser
that just opened, *NOT* open another browser instance. In IE (5.0/5.5 for
me), it opens a new browser instance every time the button is clicked. In
Netscape it works correctly.
Below is an example of the Action Script I am using:
On (Release)
Get URL ("http://www.macromedia.com", window="main")
End On
This can't be happening to just me! Please help.
Bill
