Comes up a lot each week, on each of the lists, but searching the
Macromedia Flash Technotes with keyword "email" brings up a full article.
Although there are many screengrabs in the article, the most important
advice is in the very first paragraph: NOT ALL BROWSERS OFFER THIS. Despite
the length of those instructions, I'd really recommend bailing on "mailto:"
techniques if you need it to work, and instead to POST a message to a
server-based emailer instead.
(If this is instead just a casual use, where it doesn't matter if it works
or not, then sure, try a "mailto:" pseudo-URL.)
