I'm not sure which version you're in, but in Macromedia Flash 5 you can set

the Movie Explorer to display only video, sounds, and bitmaps... if you've

named the sound then you can even search for it here.


(If it's instead specified through scripts rather than timeline, then the

Movie Explorer can be set to filter and search only scripts.)


If you're in Macromedia Flash 4, then it doesn't have the Movie Explorer

tool, and you'd likely have to play the piece to see where the sound

starts... if you suspect it may be in a clip then it's easy to drag another

instance of this clip to a new movie to check if it's the culprit, but this

type of gumshoe work is the best recourse I can think of offhand, sorry.
