Subject: | FLASH: PLEASE HELP: Flash 5 and midi files |

This has probably been asked before, so I apologize in advance.
Is there ANY way possible to import a MIDI file into Flash 5? It
doesn't say so in the book or the help pages, so I guessing there isn't,
but I thought I ask my Number One Resource Experts a.k.a. the flashers
on this list.
Please let me know. I'm working on a training Flash movie, and I'm up
against a deadline, and I need to finish this tonight.
Any why do wav files sound so crappy in Flash 5, and MP3 files are so
much clearer? I liked working with the wave files because I could go in
and clean them up with Wave Studio editing (my narration speech files),
but when I import them in Flash 5, it sounds like I have a lisp and it's
amplified through a trash can. I've had to resort to creating my speech
files as MP3s. They import ok, but I have no way of editing MP3's like
in Wave Studio where I can edit out the breathing, etc. So if you know
of any MP3 editing tool software that doesn't cost as much as the
National Debt, please tell me what and where to get it.
I'm scheduled for a weekend Flash 5 seminar in Ojai the last weekend in
October, but I need to know this information ASAP and waiting isn't an
option.
Please toss any ideas my way. I'm very appreciative of any help you can
give me.
Thanks,
Debbie Miller
