One site I've found fairly useful:

He's got some voice sounds there to grab.
First suggestion - get a cheap mike from an electronics store to record any
voice directly to your Mac - otherwise you'll always get a lot of machine
noise.
Another suggestion - grab a copy of D-SoundPRO 3.5.1 from Download.com. It's
a fully functional demo for 15 days, and I've found it good to edit (short,
<15 sec) voice recordings with.
