For voice-overs and specific dialog, it is highly
unlikely you'll find what you need on the web. Either
get out the old microphone and give it a whirl, or
hire someone.
I do quite a bit of voice work for radio stations,
presentations, etc, as well as some others I work
with.
Depending on what you need, we may be able to assist.
Should you tackle this in-house, a good studio-quality
mic is nice, but since it's on the web and compressed
anyway, quality isn't always the main issue. If you
are producing a CD or professional product, then a
studio mic is a must.
I doesn't hurt to have some effects, where effect
hardware produces the best results over software, but
that gets pricey. Vocoding is popular
(robotic/computer type voices), reverb/chorus, maybe
flanging, that sort of thing to livin' things up a
bit.
Editing skills/software is a must, then of course
mastering and adding/syncing into your Flash movie.
Good luck - let me know if I can be of any assitance.
