Well, we can blend along a curve, but with this you'd have to set keyframes
in the blend where it changes direction. (I'm assuming that "alignment"
means changing rotation as the path changes its angle.)
But text-along-a-path has orientation controls, and you can also insert
inline graphics into text blocks... try this:
1) Create desired path.
2) Type a few short words.
3) Select text and path, choose Text > Attach to Path.
4) Copy desired shape to clipboard.
5) Insert cursor between letters in text-to-path, and paste, paste, paste.
Result: Graphics along path, rotating with changes in path direction. You
can set orientation options in the Object Inspector.
