As far as *vector* editors go--and apart from doing all your creative in
Flash--it's FreeHand, Illustrator, or CorelDRAW. Pick your poison. They're all
groovy in some ways, and not in others.

Yes, Flash creates the most optimized objects for online delivery ... but ...

But there's a wealth of vector art (and importantly, CORPORATE LOGOS) out there in
Illustrator format--that's a huge legacy. All three of these packages are able to
open and edit Illustrator format files.

Bitmap editors (like Photoshop, PaintShopPro, and PHOTO-PAINT) are a different
matter ...
