"What if..." does not interest me, what matters is *now*... I am
developing sites for usage nowadays and not entirely for the future.
There are many many people out in the WWW surfing with dial-ups... Not
everyone has DSL available at their home... Sure, in the future this
might be possible, but also in the future the sky may fall upon our
heads...

No valid reasons IMHO.

A good designed Flash site does not need file sizes bigger than 100
KB. That's what "Load Movie" is for... ;)
