Hello Lee,
Flash doesn't import MP3, it just exports WAV file as MP3s. For converting
MP3s to Wav's, Winamp will do the trick (www.winamp.com) which is now freeware.
As far as sound quality, you lose that when converting from WAV to MP3. As long
as you keep the Sample rate the same in Flash as the original MP3 was you
wouldn't hear any difference.
