Subject: FLASH: Monitor size and resolution (was virtual paperdoll)
From: Karin Christensen

The following questions remind me of a question I had a while back.
Someone on the list once mentioned that most people don't know that
they can change their screen resolution from 640X480 to 800X600. I
confess that's me. I tried once or twice in my settings to change to
800X600 and I got a small fish-eyed desktop that windows only let me
view for 15 seconds then reset to the default. I have been happy with
640X480 but that's probably because I don't know any better. I have a
15" monitor and it is filled edge to edge with image. Is 800X600 for
larger monitors? I figure most things out eventually but I don't get
this one. Can anyone explain?
