Thanks for your reply, but this is not what I am talking about. I know how to create the icon itself, that is easy. But when you stick that on the desktop, it does NOT animate. Someone mentioned they knew how to creat the required DLL or something so that Windows will animate the icon. This is what I am in need of. Thank you.

you can use a utility called microangelo to create them. I can't remeber the exact web address, but a search on hotbot should turn it up in the first page or two...

I remember not too long ago someone posted about creating the DLLs or something to be able to use animated icons on PC. If you could please post that info again, as I would really love to be able to have animated icons on my desktop, and I am sure it would be great for our clients, seeing as how our product is launched from an icon on their desktop.
