It is true that the MIME is not set on your server, but that is not the
cause of your JavaScript detection failure. You have 2 different
problems (at least).
This line:
<!--function MM_checkPlugin(plugin, theURL, altURL, IEGoesToURL)
Should be two lines:
<!--
function MM_checkPlugin(plugin, theURL, altURL, IEGoesToURL)
The MIME is not set at:

There are many so called 'webmasters' who don't know the importance and
ease of setting the MIME.
Make sure you read and then provide your ISP with full information -->
