Update:

I managed to work around this "problem" I was previously using external

movies, what I did was to integrate those movies into the main movie and

referring to them using instances, so the tell target worked.


*BUT*, another problem arose... I use load variables, and now i can�t load

variables, that is, I can preview the movie within Flash 4, but when I

publish it and see it from the web server, variables aren't loaded (or

arent' showed, i don't know!).


I have flash v5 plugin on my browser... At another computer in my LAN with

IE + v4 plugin, it works ok. I don't know much about Flash 5.0, but i'm

thinking that i'm obliged to buy the latest version if I want my work to be

seen as it should be.


I tried using different paths (absolute/relative) to check, but no go. My

web server (IIS 5.0 - Win2k) logs shows the file being requested, but it

seems that it is ignored... Am I missing something?


(Using Flash 4 - IE 5.0 with latest shockwave player 8.0)
