Subject: | FLASH: Flash 5 Plugin |

I just installed the flash 5 plugin so I could look at some examples, and thing
really stood out which is going to cause us developers some serious headaches
from clients, and that is:
After downloading the plugin, I had to go find it on my hardrive and double
click it. And the second thing that really bothers me is that it wanted to
reboot the machine after I had installed it. I don't remember having to reboot
to install a flash 4 plugin update.
This having to reboot is really going to bother the end user, as alot of people
won't go to the trouble of coming back to your site if it means a reboot after
installing a plugin.
If any MM representatives are listening, perhaps this is something that could be
worked on, making the plugin install as seamless as possible. Another point
also, is people don't want to restart the browser after installing a plugin,
again for the same reason, they won't come back.
Darren with his 2cents worth.
