FLASH: Flash and PHP

Hi all,


I am newbie and from Germany, so my English is not so great, but 

I need help and try to explain my problem, which may be very easy 

to solve.


I want to get a variable from a php-page in flash. Ok I want to 

specify my problem.


I have created a database (Lamp-SYSTEM) and got the amount of 

rows via PHP: 12 at the moment but variable


The variable name in the php-script is $amount


Now I want to duplicate a button in Flash x-times (depending on 

the rows in the database).


How do I get 12 in a variable which is called max? Is this possible?


Tried something with LoadVariable, but did not work.


So any help is appreciated.
