Cornelius,

Before you, or anybody else, gets worked up over the site's problems (or lack
thereof), get the Release version of the plugin (5.0.r30). The Beta is exactly
that, and was released so that these types of bugs would be found, reported
and fixed for the Release version. This will most likely fix all your
problems.
