That's what we've found too. The processor is running all the
animation/scripts at the same time so it's just like having all of it
going on in the same movie. And somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but I
believe it's going to take more processor power than if it were all in one
movie since each SWF is opening up a new instance of the player -- this is
especially noticeable when they're all trying to load and start playing at
the same time. If you find this to be a problem you may want to pause the
movies at the start so everything's loaded and in place before the
animations start.
The QT will definitely make a difference too since that's another fairly
processor/memory-intensive app that's running at the same time.
