The album covers in the spotlight are randomly generated.  They are simply

mc's with four frames.  A random number is generated and saved as a

variable.  An "if" statement checks the variable and a "goto and stop"

statement chooses which of the four frames to display.

Subject: FLASH: random movie clips



Hi:


I am trying to create a whackamole game (where something pops out of a hole 

and you have to try to hit it).  I have a working movie clip, but I'm 

looking for a way to use more than one character @ once on the screen so 

that the user can maybe get different scores for hitting character 1 as 

opposed to character 2, etc.  How can I randomize the clip so that the same 

character doesn't pop out of the same hole in the same place everytime?


Do I need to randomize the symbol?  Do I need to put commands in the scene?


I'm not sure how to approach this.
