Subject: FLASH: (OT)Javascript new.window requires Reload
From: peter hagerty

I have a JS button which opens a newWindow() containing a flash movie.
The button works fine from it's own page, but when this page is in a
frameset, the button will not open the new.window; unless "Reload" is first
clicked in the browser(NN) menu bar.

I can use the workaround meta refresh tag in the HTML to load a duplicate
page, which gives a correctly functioning button, but this is messy.

Why does the page need to be Reloaded for the button to work?
