Subject: OT: File Corruption (Was Re: FLASH: help with file corruption)

Okay this is something I have a little experience in,
since I paid my dues to Uncle Sam a few years back in
my beloved Marine Corps.

If you do decide to buy a copy of one of the many
products Norton and Symantec has available, make sure
you purchase just the Norton Utilities version unless
you have a REAL need for the other products they
offer. I've found that when you uninstall Norton
SystemWorks it leaves some nasty stuff behind and
doesn't uninstall cleanly.
