has anyone implemented a straight-up
hash function for F5?
I need to index an array by Object
(instead of by integer or string)
and I'd like to sidestep writing a
convert-to-myIndex blah blah...
it'd be really cool to be able to do:
myArray[myObject1] = 32
myArray[myObject2] = 17
flash doesn't let you do that.
what I'm looking for is a function that
will let me "cheat" and do:
myArray[myObject1.getHash()] = 32
myArray[myObject2.getHash()] = 17
anybody?
