Well where to start?

I get the feeling you are not actualy after disney quality animation. you
seem to be happy with a lower standard... not a bad thing, but it could be
likened to walking into a toyota car yard and asking for a Rolls Royce...
the toyotas are great and thats what you are happy with...

It seems to me that you need info on technical matters... there is a LOT to
cover... your biggest problem is "Regestration" ... Of course paper is the
tool of choice for animators... even the best GFX tablet has the same base
problems as a mouse based system... you will need an animation desk (or a
disk at minimum... yes that is spelt right DISK)... now the desision you
have is to buy a normal flatbed or a far more expencive one that will take
A3 size paper.. you need to add a regestration bar to the body of it... yuo
will need a feild guide, ... well it is a little involved... dope sheets
etc...

animation is not easy... it takes very skilled animators years of training
and experience in art, movement, acting, life drawing etc to get to any
standard.... and that is only one of the skills you need if you want to use
flash and work in digital media as well... I still have things to learn and
I have been in the animation/computer animation feild for 10 years now.

I dont have a lot of time now to create animations for pleasure or even my
own web page (still in 100% rewrite) so you cant see what I do at the
moment...
