FLASH: Random initialising animations from different positions

Hi everyone,


This is list is great...................................


I have a question,

Our animators have made an animation of a puppy playing in the garden. On

user interactivity the puppy will do various actions like playing with a

ball or bone etc.

Generally I have a main scene from where it will start and go to other

scenes(very simple stuff) and come back to the main. The puppy is at a

point on the screen and after it finishes playing it will walk back to the

initial position.

Now the client wants the puppy to start from four different pionts. So each

time the user loggs in the puppy will be in a different point and after the

activity goes back to this point. This has to be random.


We are invoking this movie from a java servlet which will also track all

the activities done by the user. Whether the user fed the puppy took him to

doctor, the time he logged, the day he logged and also send mails if

doesn't visit the puppy etc. etc.
