Netscape 2+ and IE3+ support Netscape Plugins (IE/Win also supports ActiveX

Controls.)


SWF4 files can be played by the Macromedia Flash Player 4 or later versions.


(You can publish from the Macromedia Flash 4 authoring application as SWF4,

SWF3, or SWF2 files, which can be helpful if targeting older devices such

as WebTV. The F5 app can also export as SWF5 files.)
