It's the HTML template you choose which controls whether text is extracted
or not... see pp248-9 in the F4 docs for info on all options, including the
$MT placeholder.
(I haven't gotten my F5 docs yet either... it's all in the Publish
chapter... you can quickly make new HTML templates that are set up to
display markup as you prefer.)
