Brian,
Have you set the compression or are you using the default? (not always
or even usually the best) To set it, right click the sound filename in
the library and set the compression to mp3 and then experiment with
different bitrates (higher bitrate = better sound, bigger file). For
example, for a 5M, 30-sec wav file, I got these numbers:
16kbps bitrate, quality=Fast -> swf is 62k (not good sound)
160kbps bitrate, quality=Best -> swf is 484k (good sound)
I ended up using 64k I think, but you can give your client some options.
