I've only ever added sound to a movie once or twice, so I'm no expert. The
tutorial I ended up using I found via www.turtleshell.com (sorry, i don't
have the fall URL)and was for a music on/off button. In that tutorial I had
a movie clip with two frames. Both frames had the sound in, but one was set
to 'event' and the other was set to 'stop'. When I want the sound to play I
target the first frame, when I want it to stop I target the second frame.
Sounds simple, but I never would have found it out without the tutorial.

Are you saying that I should put the sound in an MC by itself?

No 5... 4.
I'm not touching anything 5 'til I see less handwringing about it.

I use 'em all the time... but apparently not the way you are suggesting,
whatever that might be.
Does this mean I should take EVRYTHING I would have in a Scene and and put
it in an MC instead?
This sounds counterintuitive.
Run a whole cartoon sequence as an MC?
Please elucidate!
