It really depends on how secure you want it to be. If you're really
worried about security, you should let the Flash talk to some server-
side technology (like CGI, ASP, JSP, PHP, etc...) and use SSL.

Otherwise, you can just check the password's text edit box against
some variable holding the expected value in Flash. That's still pretty
secure, but anyone with one of those SWF hacking programs (or
maybe a hex editor) can see it.
