Subject: FLASH: flash file sizes

Hello there everyone

I was wondering if anyone could give me some tips on flash file
sizes. Im doing quite a large website at the minute and im worried
that the file size might get too big.Ive two questions really

1.Ive had to import quite a large image. Its only one colour
so i though i could trace it. Even though ive optimised the gif
before importing it the file size of the swf file still seems quite
large. Im not 100% sure how to do tracing. So i delete the jpg from
the library afterwards?

Secondly there are lots of different pages on the site with varying
dergrees of animation on each page. The front page has most of the
fancy animation.

Im thinking about splitting it into different html pages. Is this a
good or stupid idea? On one hand im trying to reduce theoverall file
size but then again i dont want people having to wait ages for each
section to download and put them off.

If anyone has any advice, tips or sites that could help me I would be
extremely grateful.

Thanks in advance
John Duffy
