RE: FLASH: Quicktime import into flash?

It will import it, but it won't play it in the SWF.... what you need to do

is after you import it into flash, you then need to export it as a BMP

sequence. Then you can re-import the BMP sequence into flash and it will

play it as a "frame by frame" animation.


But remember, it will drive you file size up immensely. You are better off

displaying it as a QT movie with the QT plug in. If you are using it as an

accent, you will need to scrub out the BMP sequence down to as few as

possible frames... and if this is the case, get the Hillman Curtis book, it

covers this step by step.

Hi all


I am using Flash 4 on a pc  and in the documentation it says that it

supports importing Quicktime movies into Flash. But in reality i just get a

empty white box, and in the library ther is

a) no preview and b) no options to edit  other than to set the path to

movei???


 Is it possible to import quicktimes?? Any other way to import the movie as

a squence of images.... i unfortunately do not have premiere or any other

movie editing tools!:(
