Subject: Re: FLASH: bevel, emboss type in Flash5?

Dan's Sympathy for the Devil's Advocate approach says:

If the text has a moderately complex bevel or emboss, it might actually
be smaller as a bitmap then as a vector. This can be a cool thing if
that text is *not* to be squeezed, stretched or rotated.

To borrow from Jessica Rabbit:

Bitmaps aren't (necessarily) a bad thing. They're just drawn that way.

Cheers,
Dan
