Check this out, it's pretty handy...http://www.wpdfd.com/browsergrid.htm. It takes into account the maximum browser chrome, so these are the max sizes for all-around compatibility.


I am a bit confused by 540x300 fitting perfectly in 800x600 though, do you mean it fits perfectly in 640x480?


There's really no way to fill every browser window without any distortion, because you'll have to scale the movie to fit and every browser is different and every user can have

different settings.
