FLASH: Da Banner Option

Can someone point me to a tutorial that explains how the banner option

coding is different than a regular js detection method within the Publish

output templates? 


I am interested in doing some of the small banners for some clients, but

so far, I've not been able to get the alt gif to show in a non Flash

browser since Flash version 3.
