Hmm. I don't have AfterEffects docs handy, but my memory is that this "shy
button" is similar to the usual "show/hide" button with the eye icon. Is
there something you want to do in addition to hiding an entire layer of
objects in Macromedia Flash...?

(Oh, I see... spent time searching the Adobe site and see in some Premiere
product literature that "Shy" is just like "Eye", except it still renders
even though you turn it invisible. If you just want to turn them off, but
still compile them to SWF, then a shortcut to turning them all on again is
to click the "Eye" icon in the timeline... if this is still a big issue for
you, then wish-flashatmacromedia [dot] com is the way to log a vote for this
change request, thanks.)
