Matt,
You do mean you want aliased (blocky not smooth) text, right? If so, you can use
device fonts. I think this is what Soulbath is doing, using a _typewriter font,
which shows up as aliased...you probably do have Courier on your machine which
is generally the default typewriter font.
If you want anti-aliased (smooth) text, you need to include font outlines so
Flash has the vector info to draw and smooth the edges.
