I just went through all this crap with Matrox support..... so long as your
BIOS/Motherboard has a way to "assign IRQ to VGA", then the Matrox works
great in Win2K, but if you don't, then you are SOL. Another thing, with the
dual heads in W2K, is that it makes it 1 huge desktop, as opposed to two
(like win98).

Could be that you are using the dualhead, I'm using two video cards so that
might be why - how do you find the Matrox? You using the G400?

Sounds like your in a mirror mode where both monitors are displaying the
same content. The background should "span" across both mons. if they are
being used as one large monitor. I'm using nt4.0 with a dual head matrox
card and it works fine for me. I'm not sure how win200 has its settings.
