Thanks for all of the responses.

I agree teaching the latest version is the best way to go but....

When you have already started a bunch of kids, who range from fast learners
and computer whizzes to not-so-fast-computer newbie learners off with one
version of a program is it worth it to change midstream? Not in my book.
Especially when I am just barely ahead of them on the learning curve. 12+
hour work days are plenty long enough for now.

Will I use Flash 5 next semester? Absolutely.

Why do I want the Flash 4 demo version? Because like a fool I let the
students and their families know it was available as a free demo download.
And of course it was available, the first week of school.

I tried download.com and the macromedia site with no luck. Yes I had the
Flash 4 demo version but deleted it when the real thing showed up.

So..... if anyone has the demo download for Flash 4 I would really really
appreciate it. Thanks.
