[uk-netmarketing] Sports - Community Website Platform

Hi, I don't normally comment on this list, but this is a little
misleading re open source and its causing sleepless nights. Using
existing software without a licence fee of course makes the basis of
development simpler and cheaper for many. Comments below.

And when you say restrictive, what you mean is that you have to licence
back modifications, not that you are restricted from using the code as
you wish, other then that sharing the goodness, element?

The licences don't require transfer of ownership, just a licence back of
the new work created using the open source licences, engineers who work
in open source are very familiar with this and its a matter of course
and in many cases pride for them to add their contributions.

Not clear why that would stop anyone sleeping easy at night.
