My view is that this is shaky territory to get into, because what is / isn't in the 'deal' is entirely up to the relationship and there is a danger of both sides feeling hard done by. You may feel that they'll start adding in additional items to be done FOC They may feel that you're charging for nothing It would be better to offer, say, 2 days at 20% off standard rate and then to offer time reporting to demonstrate where time is used. And the time can either carry forward or additional time be charged with a settlement on, say, a quarterly basis. And any substantial work would be quoted for and billed outside of this arrangement. Of course, it also depends on the work you do... is it 'support' or 'fixes' or regular development or design work?
