We use email marketer from Interspire 
http://www.interspire.com/emailmarketer/ and send the emails through 
smtp.com - we host it ourselves  We have Interspire linked into our CRM 
system and billing system.  Interpsire has auto responders, triggers, 
multiple lists and reporting of course.  I like the way it works, in 
fact the only thing I can fault it with is that rather than a contact 
existing in one place and belonging to multiple lists, they exist in 
multiple lists (bigger database).
