Hi John,

We are having a lot of success using piwik piwik.org, it plays nice with 
GA and because the data is held on our servers we can do lots of custom 
reporting and analysis.

It supports custom tags and built in has a very flexible API for 
reporting. So you can pass identity in the URL and track individual 
behaviour.
