[uk-netmarketing] Is Microsoft's IE 10 'Do N ot Track' default browser option a threat to ad vertisers?

If you aren' t tracked you will be shown run of site ads - mostly dating site ads it seems. as a man you could get lots of ads for women's products for example, so it's ad pollution.

From a speech I saw from the IAB most people think if they refuse cookies they will see no ads (living in cloud cuckoo land there) but when they understand they will see better ads via audience profiling and retargeting despite the advertiser not knowing who you are (no personal info) a lot of people opt back in.
