Thanks Suzy

Pinterest is much more effective for our aspirational and/or luxury lifestyle clients.

Examples of clients that have had very good results on Pinterest:
Holidays
Weddings
Jewellery

Overall, it's not rocket science: The audience of mostly women like pinning pretty pictures about places they want to go, their big day and rocks they want to wear.

Once you look at the value of a sale, it is easy to justify 'manning the Pinterest page': consider a luxury/nice watch or holiday sells for approx. £6,000 upwards. Within two sales they covered their costs and that ignores any of the goodwill/ halo effect of the Pinterest activity.

All our client sales come from US, UK, SAm

But Benn is right, there is a lack of discussion and we can all blame ourselves for that as we are locked away in our own worlds and "forgetting" to interact. (In actual fact, I thought I had been deleted from the list because I hadn't received any emails from the group for so long. I even went as far as to go onto the website to check to see I was still signed up! ).
