MailChimp, like most ESPs, considers dirty lists with high bounce rates to
be a breach of their T&Cs and as others have said will suspend your account
if it goes over the threshold. They recommend a few services in their KB
article:

I haven't used these, so I can't comment on their choice. I've used
FreshAddress in the distant past, though, for a list made up of manual
signups at supermarket checkouts with a horrible human error rate. The
cleaning wasn't as good as I hoped - we still had a high hard bounce rate
when we sent to the list the first time, which I thought they should have
eliminated. If you go to a service recommended by your ESP they'll probably
be forgiving if your first sends after the cleanup have high bounce rates.

The list cleaning services also don't deal with whether the people on the
legitimate email addresses you're sending to want to get the email. Dirty
lists usually mean long-forgotten permission, so you're likely to get a lot
of spam complaints in your first sends. This will also get you into trouble
with your ISP and will taint your sending domain, meaning that even if your
email is delivered it will probably go straight to junk and never get seen.
You can use deliverability services like Return Path (pricey), Email on
Acid, DeliveryWatch are some tools to keep an eye on your ongoing
deliverability.
