That's a good angle. But I think it needs to be me looking at 'finding' the
right one rather than the other way round as I fear I may spend too much
time talking to people who really cannot do what they **think** they can
(based on what they think I want in terms of content which is not general
businessesy stuff, but very specific M&A / business sales content).

Is it ever acceptable to approach the content writers of trade magazines
that you're interested in for some freelance work?  Reviewing their content
within the magazines could be a good barometer of whether they 'get' your
field of interest. 2 days a month f work could be something they can manage
too offline.

Hi all



Thanks for all the help, I did get a call from your chap, don't mind that
really. And thanks for all the other suggestions.



However, I really need a niche of a niche specialist who fully understands
the business buying and selling process. Who 'gets' EBITDA and knows what
Amortisation means. Who understands gearing, appreciates the difference
between LLP and Limited... that kind of stuff.



Otherwise it ends up being a bit messy... and we may as well write our
articles ourselves...



Which is why we really need to have a good hunt around and it's going to
come through seeking rather than approaches!



Which is also why we don't want to employ someone as there's not a full
time job for someone there... it's about two days a month.
