If that's the In Business NetNanny show it was really helpful. However, as a
friend said to me tonight it's still hard raising money for an Internet
business unless you are the son / daughter of someone alrready in the
finance
loop !
Another thing that is beconming more apparent are the 'time wasters who
'pretend' to be VC's or may have other motives. There are some real Walter
Mitty characters out there. I've met a few recently at FT and elsewhere.
One
owner of what he hopes is an honest 'angel' on-line service has suggested a
list be compiled. If anyone wants to share details they are very willing to
mail me ( off list please ) with names, where met, how they seem to
operate.....
