Glen or Ian (it's too late in the day to decipher the email header details),

I agree that those three guys were a bunch of idiots and was especially
amused by a comment from one of them after they 'got' their funding - on the
lines of 'So when can you get the site up then'. Anyway, that's enough eye
scratching from me and good luck to them - if they get to IPO I'll buy them
a drink.

I was more concerned about the image they portrayed about start-ups and more
so Asian people. I am Asian myself and thought that the concentration of
footage on these guys was too much and gave a very very bad impression to
the Asian business scene.

We are an Internet incubator with myself alone having played with and made a
career out of interactive electronic communications since I was knee high. I
think I know what I'm doing and have produced a couple of award winning
applications and have links with Asian development teams who could pi$$ on
European skills. However (this may upset many people) I have found that
non-European Asians do not have marketing skills and this is there greatest
limitation in terms of self growth but a huge opportunity in terms of
outsourcing for buyers.

I think I'm waffling again and will stop - but ask for this discussion to
continue for a while.

Glen wrote "What did we all think of the programme then?

I particularly liked the 3 chaps who were looking for 0.5m funding for a
mainstream, b2c & b2b renting & selling property web service, who stated in
a presentation to a VC that the 0.5m seed financing would fund all the
online and offline marketing / development."
