I was attempting to formulate a response along your lines - but, obviously

you beat me to it.


Here in the US, the recent slide (and I use the term advisedly) in

high-tech stocks has resulted in much weeping and wailing and gnashing of

teeth.


One would almost believe that, in each and every stockholder's living room,

there was a stack of $100 bills which expanded and contracted according to

the vagaries of the market!
